Do NOT go to Dr. Keil. I went for a swollen painful toe. He had me come back every week, and sent me out for insane tests and swore up and down it wasn't an infection for months. I finally went to another dr who diagnosed me immediately. I ended up with a picc line, IV antibiotics, and parts of multiple bones and a joint removed because of Dr. Keil. He is out to make a quick buck and that is all.
He puts in wrong procedure codes that provides more income for him.For 3 appointments, I had to pay him out of pocket over $440 for scrapping on a small callous which I did the exact same thing at my home and applied a foot lubricant. He put the procedure code as an abcessed debribement. I have a medical background and know it wasn't. Also, my room- mate considered taking over her father's podiatry practice and said there was no abcess. He used a unsterile scalpel to scrap an abscess!!!!
Awful experience! Do not use this doctor! I had a very common case of plantar fasciitis and he gave me a boot that did nothing other than keep me from getting around. He then charged me $900 for the boot that I have found for less than $50 online. He never mentioned the cost of the fact that insurance may or may not help cover the $900 boot! The second visit (before I got the bill) I waited 1 1/2 hour so that he could only ask me if I was wearing the boot, and didn't even look at my foot.
DR KIEL IS A WELL LIKEABLE DR.!!!!! HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!!! AND HIS STAFF IS AMAZING!!!!!!
