Dr. Barta did the prep work, then left the fillings to a tech. Some of the tooth material fell out within two weeks, the margins were not tight, became discolored and prevented adequate flossing. The bill was high when virtually nothing was done correctly. I've had much better results with a first or second year dentist at the dental school.I cannot comment on Dr. Barta's ability because he did so little, leaving most of it to a technician.
Dr Barta has provided dental care for me and my three children for the past sixteen years. He is a wonderful dentist. All the care given has been excellent. His staff remembers the family and is supportive. He also understands patients needs when they are without insurance and work things out. My highest recommendation.
Dr. Barta is great! He is very gentle. I would recommend him and also his entire office to anyone.

I happened to run across this site while googling Dr. Barta's phone number. Myself and my family have been patients of his for several years. He's done a variety of work on my teeth, from cleaning to making bridges and everything in-between. His work, demeanor, and entire office environment has never been anything short of excellent. first he pulled out one of my implant during one of his impressions but did not deduct the cost, when he made the teeth for my remaining implants the results is horrible, both the upper and lower teeth dont fit, they hurt, and the bottom has a ugly hump on the side of it it looks like a boil, also all he did was make a pair of bid ugly set of dentures and put a indent in them witch if i dont put denture cream on them they will fall out im very upset to me this is not a denture implant and i plan on getting my money back, thi... read more
I enjoy the office of Dr. Barta. I trust in his dentistry and have had very good experiences at his office. I find the staff to be very professional and friendly. I consider Dr. Barta to be the best dentist on the west side of Indianapolis.
I had a serious tooth problem that should have been suspected and looked at long before treatment had to be done. Everything there seems to be done according to schedule without concern for problems that exist at the present. If you want a dental problem to be measured until you're in deep trouble go here. Bugs crawl on the ceiling of the examination room - I am not making this up. One of the receptionists shared an attitude problem with me that was unnecessary.
