Dr Shook has done 3 successful cancer cell removals. I am so pleased with his explanation of the procedure and his work ethics. His entire staff is professional and helpful.
Dr.Shook was able to remove my skin cancer on the first set of surgery and his stich work on the surgery site left no scar after the stitches were removed

I recently had surgery for squamous cell carcinoma. Actually, I have had several surgeries from Dr Shook. He is always very informative and responsive. His assistant, Carolina, was excellent- she is very thorough and professional.Overall, my experience with entire staff is exceptional.
I had a place on the tip of my nose examined and diagnosed as Basal Cell. I like the fact that he has an office near Methodist Hospital at Willowbrook. The ladies in the office are very professional and explained every step of the procedure ahead of time and as they progressed through the removal and closing with stitches. I knew Dr Shook’s parents and I have no doubt about his integrity, training, and ability.
This was my second visit to the practice but my first time with Dr. Shook. The front desk receptionist was friendly and welcoming. His assistant (Debbie?) was very thorough. She showed great concern that the usual after-care pain medication would conflict with one of my regular medications and took the time to look for others that wouldn’t cause an adverse effect and also consulted the doctor. Second time using Dr Shook. Pleased with both outcomes.
He was very informative, made me feel comfortable throughout the Mohs procedure. His nurse, Carol, was also very helpful, including relieving some anxiety I had prior to the procedure.
Dr. Shook and his team are an amazing and extremely careful group of professionals. They made my first visit very comfortable for me and I’m confident in using this team in the near future for all of my upcoming dermatology appointments. Thank you!
