Dr. Burkhart is prompt and communicates his diagnosis and your options clearly and patiently while you digest them. He has never made me feel rushed and takes the time to field any and all questions I have. The only criticism I have is that I leave each appointment pondering if I need a new wardrobe, as Doc is always dressed 95% better than me. Great Doctor, highly recommend.

I am a physician and I also operate on people for living. Dr. Burkhart was confident, friendly, direct, with a no nonsense approach, laid out his recommendations. At the conclusion my options were clear. He injected my shoulder and I barely noticed he was done. When I decide on surgery, this is my guy.
DR BURKHART DID ARTHROSCOPIC ROTATOR CUFF REPAIR. HE & HIS TEAM AT OOC WERE FANTASTIC. THE EXPERIENCE AT THE GROUP’S ASC (OOOSC) WAS AMAZING AS WELL. HE TREATED ME WITH RESPECT & DIGNITY WHICH DOESN’T ALWAYS HAPPEN AFTER A WORK RELATED INJURY.
I had my patellar tendon rupture repair in ‘18 by Dr Burkhart and have had no issues. This time he repaired my achilles tendon and I’ve had no pain since the day of injury. He stays up to date with innovated techniques leaving minimal scarring with maximal healing. I wouldn’t choose any other physician for surgery. My injury was memorial weekend and within just a few months I was able to not only get back onto my feet but be able to surf without pain. I love this doc. He smiles, looks you in the eye, has a firm handshake. He was up front about what needed to happen and got me back on my feet in a matter of weeks. Surgery was fast. I got there at 5:30 am and was home by 11 am. Did not have to go to see him to get refills for pain meds. He had me in PT in less than a week. Healing process has gone very well. I am 3 months out and have been discharged from his care. Awesome team!!
