A great knee replacement An excellent experience from pre-op to post-op. I felt comfortable and informed through out the entire process.

I cannot speak to Dr. Burkhart's expertise as an Orthopedic Surgeon outside of his Workmen's Compensation practice. That being said, he definitely cares only for what Workmen's Comp wants him to say. I was actually looking forward to our visit. I researched this physician and felt confident he would consider the patient over the money. I could not have been more wrong. His medical opinion was nothing more than, no surgery can help you, WRONG, don't bother with your splint, WRONG.

I had total knee replacement with Dr. Burkhart. I was afraid of the surgery and its potential to throw me into a Lupus flare. Staff told me I would have much pain, but after operation pain was minimal I was able to walk immediately. After phys.Therapy within 1 week I was pain free. After 2 mo and phys ther. my knee is virtually straight. Anesthesia and 1st pain meds caused vomiting & constipation.but when that cleared, no pain & normal activity
Two shoulder replacement's by Dr. Burkhart. My experience with Dr. Burkhart rates excellent. Dr. Burkhart takes time with the patient before and after surgery. Very concerned about how YOU are feeling. You don't feel rushed and he listens to the patient. His office visits are exceptional . I have had such a success with Dr. Burkhart. He knows his business!
