Would you recommend this ophthalmologist to others? Yes
Dr. Elkins practically saved my life in during my last visit. He recognized a major issue, then he sent me to see my doctor immediately. I was a walking stroke waiting to happen and thanks to Dr. Elkins we caught this issue before it got more serious. Of course, I would recommend Dr. Elkins to any one. Thanks to him and his professionalism I've avoided serious problems that have to do with my eyes and overall health.
My entire family and I have been seeing Dr. Elkins for over 5 years now. I first took my two girls who were in need of glasses before their new school year began. Dr. Elkins not only examined them in a comfortable manner, but we were able to get them contacts and glasses from their office too. The staff is kind and wait times are not bad either. High reccomendations!
I have been seeing him for over 10 years, and there is no aspect of his work or his operations that I was not overly delighted with. From the staff to my surgeries, everything was smooth and efficient.
Dr. Elkins is a real professional and great doctor. His explanations are always very thorough and he is extremely patient...a rarity these days.
I go to Dr. Elkins for general eye exams and whenever I have eye problems he is always quick to address it. A few years ago Dr. Elkins talked to me about the RESTOR lens replacement procedure and to be honest at first I wasn't so sure. But when I decided to read up on the procedure and talk to Dr. Elkins about it some more, it became apparent that it would be the right thing to do. I really trust Dr. Elkins with my eyes for sure.
