This doctor was incredibly caring and seemed to be great at his job. He did a great job and answered all my questions. I would have to agree a little bit with the other review that he gave a "creepy" vibe. There was unnecessary touching and I could tell his female staff were uncomfortable around him. It was very strange. If I young attractive female I would not want to go to this doctor. I don't want to ruin a doctor's reputation but this was very concerning given how blatant it was.
I had osteoarthritis on my right knee and a lateral medial tear. Dr. Zwahlen performed surgery one week ago. I saw Dr. Zwahlen yesterday for my post op visit and walked in to his office without assistance and very little pain. He also performed a total knee replacement on my husband's knee. We highly recommend him.
Whether or not he's a great doc, I was extremely uncomfortable. I saw him touch a young woman assistant's shoulder unnecessarily, and he touched mine repeatedly for no reason. I felt patronized and spoken down to, as though he were talking to a child or very uneducated person (I have a graduate degree.) Regardless of his intent, it felt creepy. I would advise any male doc to never touch a woman unless related to her care. I won't return. I have never given a doc a negative review before!
