My husband has been treated by Dr. Modi for the last six months or so for hemolytic anemia. It is our opinion that he is an excellent doctor, explains things very well and is highly efficient.

I like Dr Modi. My only concern is his not reviewing my latest scan results or his case notes before coming in to meet with me. Example, when my disease showed progression, he did not recall the next step we’d recently discussed. Texas Oncology office support has taken a nosedive. The phone system is unreliable for days on end and it seems they stay short staffed. One employee absence rocks their boat with a significant impact on existing patients.

Dr Modi worked well with other doctors to coordinate treatments that gave the absolute best quality of life for my family member. He always pushed and advocated for us to get the best and fastest care possible! He did not sugar coat situations and gave us real but compassionate information.

Absolutely terrible. My wife had her 2nd blood clot in November and has been on eliquis. Our insurance now does not cover eliquis and it's now $400/month and this jerk won't even talk to the insurance company to recommend still taking eliquis. Instead he wants us to do what insurance says, and take Coumadin...which he said from the beginning was the worst blood thinners of them all. Also, my wife had a stroke a week after getting off Coumadin in 2011. Talk about not caring about your patients.

DR MODI, is an honest, & almost always right in his opinion, (regardless of my doubts), he's very rational & I've found to be personable! He is firm in his diagnosis & what he tells you to do, follow his advice, & you will come out on the better & more safer side than with any other oncologist we have gone too!
