Dr. Das is the best colorectal surgeon. He is brilliant, funny, attentive, caring and the best doctor around. I would recommend my mother to him. A+++++
OUTSTANDING appointment. Dr. Das was very friendly and comfortable to talk to. which really helped relax me. He explained my medical situation very well, with great detail and in a manner I could understand.. He explained the surgery and showed me a model of how he would do it. Scheduled a small but embarrassing procedure at Kirby Glen Surgery Center with Dr Das. Arrived at center at 10:30 am. Was in pre-op by 11:00am or so. Was visited by Dr. Das to thoroughly explain the surgery procedure. Dr Wells Anesthesiologist also came in to check past health history and surgery anesthesia procedure. Surgery nurses introduced themselves and reinforced my well being in the operating room. Very reassuring and made me feel at ease. They get 5 plus stars. I. LOVE. DR. DAS & LIZETH!!!!! My overall experience was awesome! I gave them 5 stars across the board, but I’m not sure if went through. Lizeth made me feel like I was her best friend right from the start and put me at ease right away! Dr. Das...I do not have enough superlatives!! My husband is a former surgeon, biomedical scientist and hospital administrator, he went to Dr. Das for colon surgery for diverticulitis. So far the results have been stellar, Dr Das is wonderful. He's a sample of only one patient but I rate Dr. Das tops. But a word to the wise, if you get this done, following the doctor's orders are key -- be devoted to it. I have prior experience with Dr. Das. six years ago he performed a colectomy on my daughter and one year later he did my colonoscopy. In both cases we were back to work in one week. This gave me a new start for enjoying life again. Once again my daughter could play golf, walk, dance, and go up and down stairs with no pain or discomfort. After my son left Miami for Houston, I was very worried he would not be able find great care for himself but he grew up and left. When my son had to have his colon removed for cancer I was very pleased he met someone like Dr Das I flew in for the day of surgery, and Dr Das so so calm and collected -- he talked to me. Dr Das took of my only son and things went so well - I am not one to write reviews, but Dr Das is truly outstanding. He goes the extra mile for his patients, and it shows. We were referred to him for my son's diverticulitis because he is an expert in his field - we found out later he operated on our church sisters cancer -- she had nothing but rave comments for him! Thank you for everything - one overnight stay later my son is cured!
Dr Das took so much time out of his day when my mother was in pain. He sat there... he listened to my anxiety. He also operated on another family member of mine and did a beauitful job. it was like he never had surgery. Dr Das is THE go to surgeon fro colon and rectal surgery - we have recommended him obviously to the rest of our family and friends
