Dr. Bidhan Das is TREMENDOUS. Point blank- Dr. Das saved my mother's life. Mom was diagnosed of colon cancer recently, within a year of my father passing away from pancreatic cancer. Dr. Das was extremely kind and compassionate, and he understood the fear and grief my mom and I are going through. Dr. Das and his team performed a very successful colectomy on my mom and she recovered within one single day. For the first few years things were excellent with Dr. Das. My wife was recently in the Emergency Room. He promised for almost 2 days to come visit her. The office first pretended they had been told she was in a different hospital even though a scan had been reviewed and the nurses and doctors had consulted. He finally spoke with my wife on the phone and was very rude however promised to come that evening to see her and never did. Dr. Das is a compassionate and skilled surgeon. He has a great personality and provides the best of care to you. He was very patient with me and I sincerely am appreciative of him. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Das' care.

Dr Das is a one-of-a-kind surgeon. He is compassionate, definitely not cold and very funny! Dr Das took care of my colonoscopy and did my surgery without an issue at all. His confidence relaxed me during a very scary time. I had just come from my gastroenterologist's office, and we had a very serious conversation about what he found (an ulcer mass in the colon) ... and I had several wrong ideas about what needed to happen. I have been trying to post my review multiple times for Dr Das--- Google keeps taking down my review -- he is frankly the best surgeon I have ever worked with, He is actually caring, spends time with you and his surgical skill is excellent. His office has a ton of patients, and he spends the time to make sure each person he talks with gets his full attention. Dr. Das spoke to my hospital in Chicago about the way he does surgery. I was very impressed. He was very well-spoken, but you never know how someone is in the operating room. Recently, my sister who lives in Galveston, Texas came to have colon cancer, and the surgeon that she was referred to was, suprisingly, Dr Das. Dr Das and the Methodist Hospital took such great care of me. I had a complex diverticulitis case, and Dr Das took the time to not only take care of me with the medical staff but he stayed late hours to make sure it was perfect until we did surgery. He did surgery with incisions I cant even see and I went home on the next day. I also work in the health care field, and I signed up with google just to write this review because I feel like he works tirelessly without much praise. An outstanding surgeon! Dr. Das is a true doctor in the full sense of the word. Confident, talented and amazing bedside manner, he was truly a blessing! The nurse navigator, mary, was also incredible and made sure to get all the tests very quickly...what an incredible duo!

An unbelievable cancer surgeon. Dr. Das operated on my mother laparoscopically and removed multiple organs all in one operation in order to clear the cancer. The tumor is completely gone and although he had to remove so much, you would never know it based on the tiny incisions and my mom being in great shape to go home THE NEXT MORNING.
