After multiple painful diverticulitis flare-ups, I was referred to Dr. Das. He recommended minimally invasive surgery, which went smoothly. I was back on my feet in no time and have been symptom-free since. Dr. Das's expertise and care made all the difference. Highly recommend!

When I was diagnosed with sigmoid colon cancer, I felt like the ground had been pulled out from under me. I was scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next. My doctor referred me to Dr. Das, and from the first appointment, I knew I was in the best hands. He explained my diagnosis clearly, laid out a treatment plan, and reassured me that we were going to get through this together. I did all may research when I got diagnosed with colon cancer. Thought I should go to Md Anderson... when I went there it was excellent but they treated me like another case... there were PAs and nurses but my surgeon is off doing research. So who really is operating on me. Ok, I find Dr Das. I wait for a little, but this guy is FOCUSED. He gives me a battle plan. His scheduler is super sweet, reminds me of my daughter. Surgery is scheduled and with the smallest incision ever, I go home the same day and the nurses are all te... read more

At 52 years old, I finally made the appointment for my first colonoscopy with Dr. Das, and I am very glad I did. The whole idea of the procedure was always a little anxiety-provoking for me, but Dr. Das and his staff were very reassuring. During the colonoscopy, he easily found and removed a couple of polyps and explained that this was the fortunate part of catching them early. It was quick and painless, and I was informed throughout. Dr. Das's professionalism and transparency made what was considered a daunting experience q... read more

The first time I heard the words 'colon cancer,' I froze. Everything seemed so unsure, and I didn't know where to turn. My doctor referred me to Dr. Das, and from the very first meeting, he made the uncertainty melt away. Dr. Das sat down with me-not as a surgeon, but as someone who truly cared about what I was going through. He never rushed me through or overwhelmed me with medical terms, but rather explained in detail my diagnosis, the type of surgery I would have, and what to expect in recovery. Most of all, I was so taken... read more

Being diagnosed with rectal cancer was really, really scary, but Dr. Das made it all seem manageable. He took the time to clearly explain my diagnosis, took me through a detailed treatment plan, and then was patient and kind in answering all my questions. He suggested the total neoadjuvant therapy to reduce the tumor before surgery and coordinated closely with my oncologist to make everything go well. By the time surgery came, he was able to do a minimally invasive procedure, and my recovery was faster than I thought it woul... read more
