I'd already been operated on twice by another colorectal surgeon, who was not sufficiently competent. As a result, it was eight months before I was able to find a colorectal surgeon (Dr. Das) willing to take my case. Dr. Das is an outstanding Doctor. He provided me with expert surgery that restored my health. He provided an accurate consultation prior to surgery and was there in recovery and follow ups. He is excellent and I highly recommend him.

Dr Dasperformed a sigmoid colectomy where the colon was “plastered” to my bladder and I was peeing air -- do you realize how scary that is! Surgery was difficult but performed well. Minor pain for a major operation. No damage to the bladder. I went home in the morning and have had no issues.

Dr. Dasoperated on me, removing a large portion of my colon. I expected a difficult recovery. Hospital nurses told me that Dr. Das's patients recover more quickly than those of other doctors. It's true. My recovery was smooth and I left the morning after surgery without any issues. My primary doctor and my GI doctor are blown away . I highly recommend Dr. Das.
