Dr. Sattar took care of my family (husband, mother, daughter) for years at Oakmont Wellness Center and she is and will always be the best doctor I've ever had. She checked on me, she made sure that my mother was doing well and went beyond her scope of practice to take great care of my family. I hate that her practice resolved but I hope that she continues her work as she had a special calling on her life to help others. I have been a patient of Dr. Sattar for almost 10 years. I found out her parents ruined her practice (Oakmont Wellness) and felt they were not very organized from my experience in that office. When she moved to WellMed, it was refreshing; however, Dr. Sattar had been on leave for almost two years straight. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Sattar for almost 10 years now. She is highly knowledgeable and cares for her patients. Her visits are long and thorough. Her lab work is extensive and she has a nice visual to compare results from previous visits with results and normed ranges that are color coded. Dr. Sattar has been my Doctor for almost 10 years. At one point she saw our entire family but unfortunately insurances changed and they had to seek other care. I absolutely adore and respect Dr. Sattar. In fact I live 45 minutes away and would rather make the drive out there than change providers. If you don't mind fasting and taking off work because you've been told by her office staff that 'Yes, the lab orders have been sent in', when they haven't, then she's the doc for you. I was lied to by four of her office staff - they've been sent, we'll send them right away, we'll fax them right away, we'll e-mail them right away, only then to discover she had changed the policy and would require an office visit first. Won't be seeing me in the office!
