Dr. McGrew performed two of my surgeries. One of those being a Right Suboccipital Craniotomy to remove a large skull based tumor. Both surgeries have been successful. I have so much gratitude for Dr. McGrew. He is an exceptional surgeon and highly skilled. He has always been compassionate, answered all my questions and concerns throughly and taken the best care of me. His staff is just as genuine. They are always helpful and quick to take care of anything I need.
Smart, compassionate surgeon with a good bedside manner. Entire office staff is also friendly, caring, and efficient.
The office staff is very friendly and does a great job! I wish I could say the same for Dr. Mcgrew. Unfortunately I wouldn’t even take a stray dog to Dr. Mcgrew. I was recommended to him, and wish I had been recommended to a different doctor in the office and maybe my experience would have been better. His bedside manner is terrible; he doesn’t listen, cuts you off, and seems to be under the impression he’s the best there is. Dr. McGrew is an amazing surgeon. He repaired my skull based defect and improved my hearing. His knowledge and experience in skull and ear is world renowned. I highly recommend Dr. McGrew at Alabama Ear Specialist.
I have lived with Cholesteatoma since I was 7 years old. My last surgery was when I was 12. I am now 56 years old with a long history of ear doctors. My experiences up until now have not been great. I dreaded my annual visits until I went to Dr. McGrew. He recently performed a really cool surgery to promote bone growth that will ultimately improve my quality of life. He has been caring and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for his compassion and for hisexcellent surgical skills. Thank you!
