I’m not talking about his bedside manner. That doesn’t bother me. But I’m talking about is his level of skill set. He performed brain surgery on my mom and was only able to remove 80%. He then did not advise the family to do radiation. We follow the doctors orders and IF he would’ve advised radiation, we would’ve done it 100%. Because we did not do radiation three more tumors grow back. He then told us it was in curable. We had to get a second surgery at the Cleveland clinic where they were able to remove all three tumors. H... read more

I have found Dr. Theodotou to be very professional, knowledgeable and with a vast amount of experience in complicated cases. He is easy to talk with, very patient, listened well and provided thoughtful advice. I found it very easy to schedule appointments. The office staff were great to work with and communicated very well. Dr. Theodotou spent considerable time with me at each appointment — until all my questions were fully answered. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team.

Dr. Theodotou saved my father’s life last year. Dr. Theodotou removed a tumor from his brain under very challenging circumstances. My father recovered and retains all his faculties despite losing most of his vision. The doctor is not only an excellent neurosurgeon but also an engaging physician who patiently answered all of our questions throughout the entire crisis. Our family is forever grateful for Dr. Theodotou’s exceptional talent, skill and dedication to his practice.

I had a piece of disc break off and it was pushed into my spinal cord. I have never had pain like that. I went to my primary and he treated me for a muscle issue. Finally, after enduring that pain for weeks, I insisted on an MRI. After the radiologist read it and said there was no problem, I insisted the MRI be sent to Dr. Theodotou. I knew something was wrong, but was ready to be told I was crazy. As soon as Dr. Thodotou saw my MRI, he immediately saw the problem. Having taken aspirin for the pain, I had to wait a week befo... read more

It is difficult to get an appointment. If you have health first you must first have their approval before you can make an appointment. It is frustrating. I live in Mims in the Northern part of the county. I'm unable to drive till the DR. says so. So i'm stuck between the health plan and the Dr. and my ride to travel 1 1/2 hours. Health first is the worst. It wouldn't matter if the Dr. was God himself. Too much other crap.

I went to Dr. Theodotou for a 4-level discectomy and fusion in May 2013. I was never pain-free after the surgery but was expecting that as a possible outcome. Three years later with no physical or traumatic occurrence, I had an acute return of excruciating pain. It was obvious by MRI that he never returned my cervical spine to anywhere close to a natural curve and my scull was literally trying to slide off my neck. Do not use this man expecting a good outcome.
