I have been a client of Dr. Al's for a number of years, and even after moving far away, I've continued to make him my primary GI specialist. Dr. Al is always so very personable, asking about my family and current situation, and takes time to interact with his patients, rather than rushing through the appointment. He is top-notch in terms of professionalism and knowledge, and I will continue to prioritize seeing him even when we are in locations which are not nearby -- he's worth the drive!
Everyone at the office is friendly and great camaraderie with patients. One negative is the waiting time, they do get you out of the waiting room fast but you just end up sitting and waiting in the exam room.
Good luck ever getting a call back from his nurse or even getting an appointment in a timely manner when you’re sick. When we finally got to this appointment that was made 2 months prior I left out in tears for my husband..This doctor is not compassionate and could care less to hear your need for help. Dr. Al-Awabdy was a good doctor, but the office staff was so bad it ruined the good feelings I had about the physician. It has been 16 days since my procedure and I have HEARD NOTHING about my test results. I have called and called, left messages, asked for a supervisor and no one will call me back. The worst I’ve ever been treated.
Dr.AL Awabdy was very very professional. Took concern to the problem and quick to handle the problem and how we can take care of it to get you feeling better. Had a great personality. Yes I would highly recommend him.
He was the only one of three doctors who listened when I told him my problem, and ordered tests to find out what was going on.
