I have been a working Registered Nurse for over 40 years. I am more than critical and vigilant in picking my family’s doctors. Don’t take your children to this doctor.
have seen him for 5 years and he is excellent. wait times are normal. low cash pay if you have no insurance. as for the 2 baseless complaints, blood work should be drawn by your provider. you share responsibility to research prescription safety, drug interactions, read the pharmacy literature and consult with the pharmacist. if you omit the fact that you are a chronic alcoholic, illicit drug abuser, or suicidal, then you will likely suffer medical complications-with any physician.
He is a Awesome Doctor. Always seems to know just what to do so fast. I have trouble getting through on the phones and sometimes I wait a while but I feel it's all worth it. It just means he doesn't rush your visits which too many doctors do today. You won't regret seeing him. ??
I had much to say about all the stress that he put me thru. But, no need to say anything more than what I saw on the Medical Board license check section today. He has a pending complaint by the Medical Board to the Attorney General.
I waited over two hours to see him for an exam my medical provider told me was a free benefit. He sent me to the lab with a test I did not need so I was charged for the exam and tests. It cost me over $200 for a free exam because of this. Then he calls with the results and gives me a snarky attitude.
He has been our Dr. since he came in to town. He helped one of my kids when I went to an urgent care close by. I was so impressed with Dr. Nguyen that as soon as he opened his practice I was there. I know is tough to get an appointment some times how ever it is because he is that good.
Best Doctor we have had up here in a decade. Switching my kids from Becker after having serious issues, he found the first visit that one child had low thyroid. He his thorough! However, part of his cation he may prescribe too quickly in some cases, but I'm very grateful for even being able to have tried somethings and then rule them out. Lost a star because lately it can take a week to even get them on the phone! He takes time with you but over schedules. Line rings busy for weeks at times :(
Dr. Nguyen is a great doctor. He takes time to address all of patient's needs. He isn't the type of doctor to brush things under the rug, if you have a concern he will jump right in and try to figure it out. However getting an appointment is a nightmare. Don't expect to be "squeezed in" in a semi-emergency situation. Office staff doesn't help, they are often rude and make you feel very unwelcome.
