My stay at the emergency room raised serious concerns regarding patient communication, transparency, and billing practices. While an attending physician, Dr. Mazaheri, briefly introduced himself at my bedside, I did not see or speak with any doctor again during my overnight stay. The only reason I give him why stars is because he conducted the surgery successfully on my daughter. My first interaction with him: he entered the emergency room to "introduce" himself as the surgeon. He barely took a few steps in the room. Took a look at my daughter and said "I'm not convinced it's appendicitis, she would not be able to sit up like that and she wouldn't be smiling." I love this doctor. I guess anybody could of saved my life, but this is the man that did. Bedside manner, I found it perfect, no nonsense. Caring, yes. It is hard to describe his exterior, tough, seasoned veteran. I imagine he has seen too much bad. Hence, he is not going to talk to us like a mom to her daughter. The Dr. checked on me daily, as any other would
He's like Trump, if you're looking for bedside manner you've come to the wrong place, if you want him to take action and possibly save your life like he did my wife's, LOOK NO FURTHER!
