From the moment you walk in the door at the Western Springs Office you are treated like you have been going to them for years. From receptionists, nurses, x-ray techs, Nadine, Ashley and of course Dr. Darwish. Everyone has plenty of time for you and all the questions you may have. I was having severe problems with discs in my neck and facing surgery. Dr. Darwish explained it all to me thorughly and everything he said was right on. Thanks to Dr. Darwish and his team!!!
I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis. From a recommendation, I saw Dr. Darwish and his associate, Ashley. Ashley explained what to expect and Dr. Darwish answered any other questions. After the surgery, Iwas in a lot of pain for about a week but I could progressively see myself getting better and better. Recommendation was to try to continue to walk which is what I did in small increments. After five weeks, I started to get back to my normal routine. Dr. Darwish was amazing and personable.
Dr. Darwish did an excellent job on my back. He performed a L5-S1 Lumbar Diskectomy and replaced the disk with a synthetic one. This was my 3rd surgery. The first two were done by a different surgeon so I knew I had to find the right one. I did and he did a wonderful job!! Thanks Dr. Darwish! I have and will refer you to people who need a great surgeon.
I was seen at my appointment time, all the staff were knowledgeable and courteous and the PA for Dr Darwish (Nadine) was awesome! She knows her stuff and she was so easy to understand when she explained results/treatment plan and answered all my questions.
Dr. Darwish performed a MAS TLIF surgery that has allowed me to return to work in 3-weeks after surgery. It has relieved years of pain and immobility within a week. The numbness in both feet have been reduced by 99% and pain is 0% outside of the post-op incision site. Ashley, Dr. Darwish's PA is incredible. As this was my 3rd back surgery, I had a lot of questions. Ashley and Dr. Drawish took the took the time to answer all my questions. The entire staff at Hinsdale is outstanding.
THIS doctor don't deserve even 1 star as he is so bad. He don't see the patients properly and only concerned about making money.
Outstanding surgeon! Helped my with a complex back stenosis problem earlier this years that three other surgeons did not want to operate on. Thank you for giving me the ability to walk again without pain! You are wonderful!!!

I was having extreme lower back pain when I meet dr.Darwish. Doctor Darwish (and his staff) were second to none. I have since had surgery(done by dr. Dawish) and I am pain free and in perfect health. I have heard many horror stories about back surgeries. I can tell you from experience you will have nothing to worry about with dr. Darwish. He is a true professional and I feel so very blessed to have had him for my doctor. I would recommend doctor Darwish to everyone. he is truely the best !!!!
