I left a review last September and am deeply disturbed and insulted by the comment below (as I wrote ONE nasty review not three). Since seeing Dr. Azatian I have found a new psychiatrist who almost immediately diagnosed me with what I actually had (persistent depressive disorder), something Dr. Azatian couldn't do as he told me I couldn't possibly have depression because the symptoms I was saying did not match up with a diagnosis of "Major Depressive" disorder. I have since gotten the medication I need from my new psychiatri... read more

I cannot understand the three nasty comments list below (obviously from the same person) - I have been a patient of Dr. Azatian's for 17 years and have never have nothing but nice things to say about him. I'm sure the "three patients" below did NOT follow the proper protocol, as was probably caught using multiple physicians and pharmacies (BTW, the DPS has a database all prescribers can access to see ALL prescriptions a patient has filled in Texas). The only problems I have had were VERY MINOR and involve having to wait to l... read more

He has been very helpful for me. He listens and then recommends ways I can help myself. I think he is a wonderful doctor.

When I had a reaction to the meds he prescribed, he never returned the call. Nothing. He was condescending and seemed to have a napoleon complex. He determined the diagnosis prior to the interview and when I asked the diagnosis he tried to give me a give me a complicated answer and talk over me. His decision was based upon predetermined key words he associates without taking into consideration the patient definition of those words. I would not recommend him to anyone except.

He was rude, plain rude. Was very argumentative about diagnoses I've had for years. Yes, he has the right to challenge those things, however, he did it in such a way you would have thought you were on trial. Told me I don't need anxiety meds, because I didn't describe anxiety properly. ??? It's anxiety, we all know how it feels. Don't know why he's in this profession. I left feeling bad about myself, questioning everything.

He was very condescending to me and tried to convince me that I didn't need medication and that I was just making my symptoms up. He didn't work with me at all. Caring and compassionate are words I would least likely use to describe him. Ultimately he was a waste of my time

I just left Dr. Azatian's office, in need of an emergency appointment and although I had one scheduled for August 5th (being the first available) his staff told me to come in immediately! I honestly can't understand any of these negative reviews you might find online. I almost did not go to him because of them but I needed someone to help me immediately!! This Dr. is incredible! He has a manner about him that instantly calmed me down. He took all the time with me that I needed and never made me feel as if he had better thing... read more

Upon my husband first appointment, Dr Azatian focused on the wrong issue. We thought we will give him a chance. In his second to third visit, he was very late to see us and asked us to remind him why he is seeing my husband. He prescribed a medication that day. We are going on two weeks with us and our pharmacy helping call Dr Azatian's office to get the order acutally sent to our pharmacy to be fill. I am very disappointed in the service.
