I have April as my dr and I am very pleased with all my test and how they were preformed! Wonderful bedside manner ! I highly recommend her!!
I recently(October 2024) went to Dr. Maddux with a referral from my gynecologist after have 2 mammograms that showed a spot deep within my breast. Called the office to make my appointment. I was told on the phone that I would be having a consultation with Dr. Maddux and then they would set up to do the biopsy after the appointment. I am a teacher, so I had to get a sub to take my place at school. I took 2 days off so that I could recover. My husband and I went to the appointment. Dr Maddux is amazing! She is brilliant and personal. A great experience as her patient.
I was shocked to see five stars for Dr. Maddux. While she may or may not be a good surgeon she is NOT a breast specialist. I was referred to her from gyn because I had a small amount of blood coming from my nipple and breast pain. First, she didn't believe me and kept squeezing a nipple that looked like raw meat to try and make it bleed. 😩 She would not do a mammogram because I had a clean one just a few months before (mammograms miss 10% of breast cancer).
