Excellent in all ways, as is office staff. Couldn't ask for more in the many years I've been seeing Dr Chavez. Always takes as much time as I need. I never feel rushed. A recent surgical procedures so far has been very successful.
Dr. Chavez graduated with very high grades from the U of Az Medical School and he is absolutely professional. I was very lucky to choose him to take over when my long time Urologist (Dr. Orton) retired. Dr. Chavez explains everything in a way that a non-Doctor can understand. He is absolutely in touch with the latest medical equipment and the research to use them.
Was able to get an appointment and be scheduled for surgery quickly! Courteous office staff. Dr. Chavez is a very kind man - spent alot of time with us making sure we understood everything. I plan to go back to him for a vasectomy.
Wait time was acceptable, staff was friendly and Dr. Chavez makes you feel comfortable (well, as comfortable as he can; knowing you're about to have a prostate exam!). Seriously, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Chavez to anyone. This was my 3rd exam by him.
I needed to find an urologist since moving here 2 months ago. I was very impressed with Dr. Chavez. He took time to listen to me and discuss various treatments/options for me to consider. I would recommend him highly.
He is a very kind man. He takes the time to listen to you and answer questions. He has compassion.
