Dr.Anthony is a caring and professional doctor. He takes the time to listen and explains everything clearly. I felt well looked after throughout my visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a kind and knowledgeable healthcare provider.
After seeing him twice because of a badly ruptured disc (work injury), I was told it was just because of my age. He made me feel worthless and stupid. Maybe his time is far more important than some scruffy commoner nobody. Maybe I am meant to feel bad for utilising his precious time. Apparently, I should be as good as new after 6 months. Rude, abrupt, not helpful and non-caring. Use caution when asking for clarification during one of his lengthy sermons as he will just bark at you, "let me finish".
I found Dr Anthony Athanasiov to be very good, and he genuinely cared about helping me with my chronic back pain situation of 2 years+. After going through my scans and listening to my experience of pain the last few years, he was honest about my condition in that for my specific case surgery wouldn't fix it - and informed me of the details of the condition so I could verify his opinion with my own research. After enduring years of pain after an injury and trying various methods of rehabilitation, Dr Athanasiov was quick to offer non-invasive methods to relieve the discomfort. He was very friendly, approachable, informative and sensitive to my needs. His reception staff are so welcoming upon arrival and makes the whole experience extremely pleasant and reassured.
My entire experience with Dr Anthony Athanasiov has been terrific.My sciatic pain was debilitating, I was moving from the bed to the recliner every day. Any time I spent standing or walking the pain would escalate. Pre surgery Dr Anthony assured me he and his team had me covered, lets go in there and fix this! Its exactly what I needed to hear. I woke from surgery almost pain free, 5 weeks later Im totally pain free, a different person. I highly recommend Dr A. and his team, a pleasure to deal with.
