From my first urgent appointment, through all the tests, procedures and finally surgery, Dr. Garcia and her staff were always friendly, caring and professional. Dr. Garcia took her time to listen to my concerns and explained what each test and/or procedure was for and explained the results in terms that the average patient would understand.
My recommendation to all re: Anna Maria Garcia is to STAY FAR AWAY FROM HER! I had 2 transvaginal sonograms at her office within a period of about 1 wk. Her finding was endometrial thickening (11.2mm) meaning that she had to do a D&C in the hospital. I then checked w/ drs at Sloan Kettering (where I am a patient). I was seen there 1 wk after the last at Ms. G's office, but with completely diff findings ... normal uterine thickness PLUS a 12.5 centimeter ovarian cyst that she missed!
IMO Dr. Garcia is the best gynecologist ever and I would recommend Renaissance Ob/Gyn to every woman. She and her entire staff are sensitive to the comfort and emotional concerns of patients. They are gentle and supportive. Dr. Garcia had to give me some bad news, and she did it with sympathy and genuine concern.
