Would not recommend Dr. Anna Mendenhall or any doctor affiliated with CPMG doctors affiliated with CPMG have zero compassion for children unsympathetic, insensitive and indifferent. Prior to Mendenhall my son had Dr. Elizabeth Burgamy another unethical doctor who refused to provide medical referrals or resources for my autistic son. Upon the change to Dr. Mendanhall my son was experiencing severe anxiety at school he was resorting to self harm, and school avoidance. This doctor has a two star rating in Encinitas last I checked, and doesn’t deserve either of them. SD patients should know that she scared our child half to death and showed zero compassion about it. She is in the wrong profession and shouldn’t be anywhere near kids. There are so many other, better pediatricians. Steer clear.
Dr. Mendenhall was a good doctor for our youngest son. However, the front office gets 1 star. They told us (legal parents and guardian) that weren't able to get the newborn screening and it was for the doctor only. This information was NOT TRUE and illegal. Before we attained a lawyer, we decided to to through the State of California Dept. Of Health and we got the records within 3 days. Never take no as an answer especially when it comes down to your kids health!
Dr. Mendenhall is JUST THE BEST! She sincerely cares about the kids and does her best to provide the best healthcare while taking in kids nerves and stressors. For example, with traditional flu testing, the dr has to use a long tool down the nose to get the needed sample, and this is awful for the kids. Dr. Mendenhall will use tissues or others means through mouth to get needed results with least amount of discomfort for the kids.
