Dr. Hanna was very courteous/helpful in discussing the pre-procedural process. As for the day of the procedure, I found ALL of his staff to be very professional when prepping me and answering any questions I had, including the team that assisted Dr. Hanna in the "operating" room. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Hanna greeted me and, by all accounts, was extremely thorough in having found and removed 12 colorectal polyps. Dr. Hanna + a team nurse explained post-op info and answered all my questions.
Dr. Hanna was referred to me by my surgeon. He caught my cancer immediately. Stepped into action and immediately put together an amazing team of cancer doctors with my surgeon and saved my life. Without him I would have died. His Medical Assistant is the best. Dr. Hanna and his M.A. always return telephone calls and take action as needed. His surgery center and staff is always amazing. He is the best doctor ever and would not ever change.He is courteous, professional and cares for you.
Dr. Hanna is an excellent GI doc. He takes time to answer questions and concerns and has a very pleasant and comforting manner. His assistant, Jade, has been very helpful responding to my numerous phone calls and questions.
Dr. Hanna made me feel better about my condition, by explaining to me what was happening to me. I appreciate Dr. Hanna positive attitude. The staff at the Tucson Gastroenterology Institute are very friendly and caring.
Dr. Hanna was very thorough, he will wait for biopsy results to come in to let me know the results of the test. He's a very pleasant doctor to be around and treats his patients with great respect.
My experience was good. I did not have any nausea from the anesthesia.

Dr Hanna has been my specialist for close to 10 years for routine exams and one serious issue. I highly recommend him for his knowledge, clear explanations, sense of humor and his office procedure support team.
It is important to have a connection with your doctor. I had not met Dr. Hanna before my procedure so I made a point to introduce myself and see him face to face. I was very relieved and relaxed when he too joked with me and we made that important connection. It helped me to relax and trust him.
