My primary care Dr. recommended Dr. Hanna for my first colonoscopy. From getting RX for prep, received all necessary paperwork was very timely. Two weeks prior to my procedure a Nurse called to cover my medical history (i.e. meds, prior surgeries, health conditions). Very through! Morning appoint was NO waiting & was literally out of his office within 1.5 hours. Dr. Hanna was nice & went over everything along w/his staff. Next day, Nurse made follow up call to see how I was feeling. AWESOME!
Scheduled for an endoscopy. Everything was handled in a very cordial and friendly manner. Every person I came in contact with had a smile on their face and treated me with respect and kindness. There was a bit of a wait once prepped, but not too long. The procedure went well and I was informed of the results before leaving the recovery area. Over all it was a good experience handled in a very professional manner.
After Dr. Hurtado passed on, I was fortunate to find Dr. Anis Hanna. He has been my Gastroenterologist For more than 4 years. He is the best. I have had at least 3 procedures with him that were over before I even knew he had started. I am going to miss him after next summer when we return to New England after 18 years in the Arizona desert. I am also going to miss Jay and Honey. These people have become friends beyond the personal medical care they provide.
First time we met was in the procedure room, very personable, kind. I felt very comfortable with him. He spoke to me about his findings and I was able to see them on the video. I would highly recommend him and the facility, everyone was great. I am a nurse and I do a lot of research before I commit to a doctor or a facility.

I had a colonoscopy yesterday. I was very impressed w the effeficiency of everyone involved w the procedure! I felt very comfortable the whole time,even w the IV.
Dr. Hanna is wonderful. Warm and caring. Explains the process and findings carefully. His staff was very friendly and efficient. Facility was clean and organized.
In my small home town I could not get an appointment for over 6 months and was referred to Dr. Hanna at the Tucson Gastroenterology Institute. They were able to schedule my initial appointment and procedure quickly. Although I hated the preparation for the procedure, I want to tell you how much I appreciate the fantastic professional treatment I received. I'm grateful that he medical profession continues to have staff and doctors like them. They even called 3 days later to ensure that all was OK
