I have a special needs son with multiple issues & was very unfortunate in finding a doc to even consider taking my son on as a patient for over 3yrs.! Dr Lopez has been the best in helping to figure out how to properly & patiently and with the utmost care, prescribe the right medication for my sons issues... it's unfortunate that he is no longer with meraky... I would love to find out where he is located now for my son to continue to see him cuz I believe that my son and our family will be at a great loss without him.
He's finally been removed from Merakey, formerly Northwestern Human Services, for overprescribing meds. I guess they want to change their image from creating and feeding addicts. Anytime my mother would ask about quitting the benzos he would use a fear tactic and ask her if she wants to go through withdrawal. She's had no life. Staying in bed most of the time and sleeping the days away on her meds. He didn't ask the right questions to see if his patients were still leading fulfilling lives while being medicated.
