Andrew Jawa is imply the best!
Dr. Jawa is a wonderful person, down to earth (prefers to be called Andy), caring, and a joy to collaborate and communicate with. He performed a reverse right shoulder replacement on me. Totally knows his field of expertise. Just had my 2 yr. follow up, all is Great. I am 76 years old, played racquet sports all my life, and continue to play pickleball competitively 1.5 to 2 hours every day. Totally pleased, enjoying life. Cannot say enough about Andy.
Dr. Jawa listened carefully and empathetically to all of my concerns and fears about surgery. His belief that I should not schedule surgery until I felt ready was very reassuring. In addition, he said whenever I felt ready, he would have his admin. secretary book an appointment for me. Clearly my concerns about surgery and my readiness for surgery were respected. For me. this meeting with Dr. Jawa was exemplary and the kind of meeting any patient would want witha physician.
3 years after surgery I have less pain and more movement. Results from x-rays looked excellent.
Had a reverse shoulder replacement and could not be more pleased with Dr Jawa. He is one of the top shoulder surgeons for a reason. He explained everything wonderfully. And is the nicest person you could ever meet. And it was one little thing that put it over the top for me. He personally called me the night before surgery to make sure I was OK and to see if I had any questions. If you have issues with your shoulders Dr Jawa should be your first and only choice. If I could rate him higher I would.
I was referred to Dr. Jawa by a friend whose husband went to him. He is everything she said and more.. His staff is top notch. Everything seemed to go like clockwork from the time you step into his office to the time you leave. His medical assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a very successful reverse shoulder replacement with Dr. Jawa. He is very personable and caring. He listened to me and was always responsive. Recovery was much faster than I expected. I am now playing pickle ball with the arm where I have the replacement, something I would never have been able to do without the surgery. His approach to shoulder replacement is outstanding. I'm so glad that I was referred to him by a friend who was also a patient.
Dr. Jawa is the epitome of what a doctor should be. He takes his time to explain the surgery he is going to perform. His utmost concern is the patient. He answers all your questions. He makes you feel very comfortable talking with him. I fully trust him and his team.
