Well, I am still waiting to hear back from the Lakewood Orthopedic office so I can come in. It seem that it takes an Act of Congress to get an appointment! Why is it so difficult to be seen in this day and age. Just doesn't seem like doctors care anymore.

I was referred to Dr. Andrew Wassef for treatment of osteoarthritis in my knee by another Dr. I hold in high regard. On my initial visit my knees were X-rayed. Dr. Wassef discussed the X-rays with me and asked me very good and pertinent questions about my condition and my goals. I saw Dr Combs a year ago. It took 6 weeks to get an appointment. I told him I had pain in my right gluteus muscle that moved into my hip, not down into my leg. He sent me for an MRI and I couldn't schedule the follow up until after the MRI report was completed. Two weeks later (after an "urgent" referral for the MRI, the IPA authorization, test and report done), I called for the follow-up appt. It took another 6 weeks for THAT appointment. The best surgeon ever I feel very comfortable with him the best
I can't write enough of the wonderful feeling to wake up without pain and the ability to move, walk with a walker and get in and out of a car! Dr. Wassef was informative as to what the surgery would entail. He always makes you feel comfortable and is truly concerned about each and every patient. I am two weeks out of surgery and now walking with a cane! I will definitely refer anyone needing hip or knee replacement to Dr. Wassef.
He truly is a credit to his profession. My surgery went without a hitch the score was minimal the pain was minimal. I have wonderful team in the surgery room as well as therapy. My recovery was quite fast and I thank him for that. Looks like I'll have the right one done soon. I highly recommend him He's a wonderful doctor.
Very kind and personable. Took the time to explain the procedure in great detail. All he promised was met and or exceeded. Amazing work and great personality!
The doctor is very attentive, friendly & professional, I had a complicated heel surgery, and now I am much better, very friendly staff. I highly recommed him in the future fr anyone.
