Dr.Wassef and his office were great His assistant Joseph excellent just like him. I always get right in when I have an appointment you never have to wait that long.Dr.Wassef did a revision on me and I'm only 4 months out from surgery ,he did such a great job I'm back riding and I'm able to go up and down steps with no pain. A place called 1000 steps in Laguna Beach. I recommend him to everyone that has to have knee replacement and even revision , you will not be in pain anymore with this orthopedic he is very caring!

I had a total right knee replacement 14 months ago and I can now do normal activities again, walking distances, golfing, etc. Dr. Wassef and his staff are simply the best. My life has completely changed after the replacement for the better and I am looking forward to having the left knee done next year. Because of Dr. Wassef my wife is scheduled for hip replacement in a few months.

Problem is not with the doctor but with some front office staff. When inaccuracies were found in my records and tried to correct with Christine?, started getting attitude as if we were wasting her time. After that it was clear that each subsequent contact would not get good cooperation, even with the task of getting insurance authorization for prescription. No way to complain to doctor and seem to get office manager's voice mail repeatedly. What's the alternative? find another doctor whose front office understands that ... read more

Well, I am still waiting to hear back from the Lakewood Orthopedic office so I can come in. It seem that it takes an Act of Congress to get an appointment! Why is it so difficult to be seen in this day and age. Just doesn't seem like doctors care anymore.

I was referred to Dr. Andrew Wassef for treatment of osteoarthritis in my knee by another Dr. I hold in high regard. On my initial visit my knees were X-rayed. Dr. Wassef discussed the X-rays with me and asked me very good and pertinent questions about my condition and my goals. One thing (of many) that stuck with me is when Dr. Wassef told me he is treating me not my X-rays. I can't write enough of the wonderful feeling to wake up without pain and the ability to move, walk with a walker and get in and out of a car! Dr. Wassef was informative as to what the surgery would entail. He always makes you feel comfortable and is truly concerned about each and every patient. I am two weeks out of surgery and now walking with a cane! I will definitely refer anyone needing hip or knee replacement to Dr. Wassef.
