I saw Dr Combs a year ago. It took 6 weeks to get an appointment. I told him I had pain in my right gluteus muscle that moved into my hip, not down into my leg. He sent me for an MRI and I couldn't schedule the follow up until after the MRI report was completed. Two weeks later (after an "urgent" referral for the MRI, the IPA authorization, test and report done), I called for the follow-up appt. It took another 6 weeks for THAT appointment. I had a total knee replacement 3days later. I'm up and down my Steps I'm very happy !
I can't write enough of the wonderful feeling to wake up without pain and the ability to move, walk with a walker and get in and out of a car! Dr. Wassef was informative as to what the surgery would entail. He always makes you feel comfortable and is truly concerned about each and every patient. I am two weeks out of surgery and now walking with a cane! I will definitely refer anyone needing hip or knee replacement to Dr. Wassef.
Post op exam and xray. Went well. Excellent surgery results. Entire staff great.
Over 25 years I have been using a cane, renting a scooter to go on vacation, wheel chair to get around Disneyland, could not navigate stairs, shots and pain pills. Dr Wassef helped build my confidence and get me ready for a successful total knee replacement. Problem is not with the doctor but with some front office staff. When inaccuracies were found in my records and tried to correct with Christine?, started getting attitude as if we were wasting her time. After that it was clear that each subsequent contact would not get good cooperation, even with the task of getting insurance authorization for prescription. No way to complain to doctor and seem to get office manager's voice mail repeatedly. What's the alternative? find another doctor whose front office understands that ... read more
