Denied my request to see a physician outside of the network. I explained everything (I thought) in my request and had the backing of my now-former primary but Amy just sent me a letter rejecting my request. I am going to appeal it, but it is surreal that Amy expects me to drive to Gainesville, Florida, to go see this specialist. Her letter is proper and all that, but she gives no mention of my argument on why I wanted to see the practice outside of the network. Almost like a robotic response. Doctor Amy Neal She has been my primary doctor since Dr. Underwood left; and I also had the opportunity to spend time with her three times before Dr. Underwood left. My health has been like a rolling stone and she has been one of the common thing that gets me up and out for another fight. She also my husband doctor and she was also 3 of our daughters doctor.
