Dr Green-Simms is great!
The office of Dr. Green-Simms lacks transparency and honesty. During my first visit I was not informed that her office didn’t accept my insurance, due to some mistake the charges went through. But on my second annual visit I was surprised with a $250 bill. When I called the office to ask why, I was finally told that they don’t accept my insurance and that unfortunately this has happened before to patients. I left a message for Dr. Green-Simms to warn her that her office was practicing MEDICARE BALANCE BILLING. She never responded. The billing manager didn't either. She was nice but knowing that this serious matter was ignored, is not someone I would see again. In all fairness, I wouldn't see a single doctor at Eye Physicians of Washington now that I know of their practice of collecting up front for $ that Medicare won't pay even when one has a SECONDARY INSURANCE.
