Waited only 5 mins to see doctor

Dr. Pusey is an excellent medical professional, whose scientific strategy is consistently based on her psychiatric knowledge and experience. She always arrives at her recommendations through a sensitive interaction with me, her patient. She also finds the time to make suggestions in order to solve my life bottlenecks.

I read the other reviews, but decided to try her out, as she was a referral. Unfortunately the reviews were right. I was in and out of our appointments in less than 10 minutes the two times we met. While she was helpful figuring out medication, that was about it. Very surface level and as others have said, "pill pusher". Doesn't dig into anything or look beyond medication. I switched to another doctor in her office, but when I had an emergency I left her multiple messages with no response.

Woke up this morning really depressed anxious, and a little ptsd panic attack to start the day. Felt relieved though because my appointment with Amanda Pusey was finally here and I could get the help I desperately needed . I got there 25 minutes early (12:35). My appointment time 1pm rolls around, I didn’t care how long I waited as long as I saw the doctor. 1:45 I hear my name... the front desk girl informs me the dr had to step out of an emergency, which I understand emergencies happen but then

Very unprofessional, wait time is over an hr for a 10min appointment. She is a huge waste of time and money. Do yourself favor look elsewhere dr darling/Pusey only cares about herself and billing insurance.she Does no listen to you she has a text book question she goes over than and calls that work?

By far the most disappointing situation I've ever encountered. Been seeing Dr. Pusey for 2 years. Every appointment I speak about my issues and illnesses. I discuss the prognosis that I have from my other doctors. It has become very clear that all Dr. Pusey is in business for is to push pills and charge outrageous fees. She does not listen, she does not interact, she only asks the standard questions. How are you? Any thoughts of suicide? Then you're out... its all about money!

I waited almost an hour for a 5-10 minute appointment. She is very full of herself and can be aggressive and confrontational. If you have ever taken benzodiazepines she will treat you as an addict and will not give you any helpful medicinal options for treating your anxiety. She has a horrible bedside matter and does not respect your opinion when it comes to your treatment and views of certain medications. I gave her three shots hoping she was just having a bad day - nope, just a bad doctor.

was directed, through Dr. Pusey's phone message system, to make an appointment online so I did so. The first available appointment was in 6 weeks....yikes! three days before the appointment, I received a voice message saying that time was not available. Wow! That is about the poorest scheduling screwup I have ever experienced. If this is the way you treat scheduling patients, I certainly would not trust the way you medically advise patients. Good luck scheduling with this group.

I needed to see a psychiatrist while I was home on winter break from college and scheduled the visit with Dr. Pusey online, weeks ahead. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that Dr. Pusey only sees patients over 25, and there was no one else in the practice who would be able to see me for 2 more weeks. She refused to make an exception which indicates that she doesn't care about patient well-being. If they are going to use online scheduling, they should screen for age requirements.
