As organized as I am I felt Dr. Peters didn’t listen to what I had to say. I felt as though he made his decision about me prior to my explanations of what was going on in my body. A person knows how they feel and I got the feeling he didn’t believe me. Two things bothered me from the get go. He wouldn’t look me in the eye or while shaking my hand AND he challenged my answers making me feel like I was lying about how I feel. Last, my previous Dr. was excellent and he hinted that my previous Dr. was a quack. I thought that was... read more

Poor office staff. At first 2 years ago, she seemed like a great DR, but her bedside manner tanked, and she seemed to care less about me and more about taking my money with incidental charges and stuff. She once told me if I wanted a copy of a lab report, it would cost me $25...I called the lab, it was free. It is sad that a talented Dr is most likely going to fail. It would be nice if she could learn to be managed and step out of the administration of the business and learn how to be managed, VS what appears to be Micromana... read more

Dr. Shishov has been a wonderful physician for my young son with JRA. Prior to Dr. Shishov's arrival in the valley we had to travel to a specialist at Children's Hospital in San Diego. Their docs were kind and helpful, but not nearly as comprehensive as Dr. Shishov. His is up to date on the most effective medication protocols as they change - his treatment was much more aggressive then SDCH. My son went from a very severe case on JRA in more than 15 joints to full range of motion and medical remission within six months, and ... read more

Dr. Acevedo is a great doctor and I enjoyed her as a physican to myself and two children. However, her office staff is terrible. Scheduling is a nightmare! They scheduled me for one appointment and when I showed up they told me I had to make a different appointment before I could be seen for what I was there for. Then, one time the wait was so long they insisted on rescheduling. Another time, I scheduled my sons immunizations and when I showed up they didn't have the meds. I was turned away, only to be called a few days late... read more

She made me feel at ease and was very knowledgable about my situation. She does show genuine concern and is very easy to talk to.

Besides serious punctuality issues, Dr. Acevedo is great. My whole family has been seeing her since our son was born in 2005. Her key staff know our whole family as soon as we enter the office and are great with kids.

she seems busy and not enough time on her hands to see you as well as listening to you. i went through hell with her as a mother for my child. i was blamed for something that never happened. my child ended up with medical problems because of her. this includes, shallowing disorder, constipation, genetic problems, etc. i had to switch doc. because of her. she does not do her job right. she should not even be in this field.
