I found Dr. Peters to be very knowledgable and helpful. I told him I was taking Vitamin D liquid and he checked to make sure it wasn't too much and had me cut back to 2000 units from 5000, and continue with liquid Calcium

The worst bedside manners I have ever seen. Made me feel rushed and didn't really take time to answer/ease my concerns. Im really considering transferring to another doctor as am dreading going to my next appointment with her. Such a disappointment.

I found Dr. Peters to be cold, unwilling to listen, and uncaring.

I can accept the fact that Dr. Shishov was unable or unwilling to help my child since her condition is very confusing and examining her is difficult. He did spend a lot of time researching and talking with other specialists. In the end, he wasn't convinced that my child had a condition that he could treat. The problem I have had is that when I have had appointments with other doctors at PCH, they see his name in my child's file and call him for consult, after which, they all, come back and tell me her problems are behavioral... read more

Dr. Shishov's office is run very poorly, wait times are almost always longer than the time he spends on the actual appointment. He shows contempt when you question his treatment opinions. He is not willing to work with any other doctors and in fact threw a fit when he found out we sought a second opinion.

I have been seing Dr. Peters for years to treat Lupus. I always find him caring and helpful. Last visit he talked me into a cortizone shot for a painful elbow and I am SOOO greatful -- it feels 100% better.

He is the best Pediatric Rheumatologist in the Southwest. Very helpful and caring. Had my child's best interest in mind and was so kind to us. I would recommend him to anyone!

Excellent doctor. Really spends time with my daughter at each visit and relates to her very well. Her JRA condition has improved greatly in his care.

Have seen Dr. Peters 3 times, the first visit he spent about 5-10 minutes with me, did not have any idea what was wrong with me. The 2nd visit was not bad, but the 3rd visit I did not even get to talk to him about my concerns he just told me to take this new medicine and it should help....as I was trying to talk to him he walked out of the office....what is that? Needless to say on the hunt for another Rheumy once again...where do they get these dr's? Are they from another plant? Don't they sit on a toilet and just like we d... read more
