Worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Arrogant, rude, insulting, and uncaring. Do not dare to question any med. He must be getting big perks from big pharma companies. Drug pusher.

By far the worst doctor I ever had in my life, and that is saying a lot. Not only is he cold, rude, and uncaring, but I have never been so insulted and belittled by a physician ever, and wild horses could not drag me back to that office ever. I think he might have some mental issues, because the first time I went he seemed stable and was fairly nice and helpful, but on the follow-up he became extremely angry with me when I told him I had experienced severe side effects from a medication he put me on. He practically called me... read more

This doctor's staff is by far the worst I have ever encountered. There is a total lack of professionalism, followup, and competency. You get a different answer with each person you speak with and there is no coordination between personnel at all. When I tried to tell Dr. Peters about his staff, he immediately cut me off. The doctor definitely does not have a bedside manner and seems cold and uncaring. He doesn't really seem to be listening when you tell him something. He does seem to be in a big hurry to get out the door and... read more

Dr. Peters decided he didn't like me during my first visit when I opposed going on antidepressants for fibromyalgia, which it seems like he doesn't actually believe is real. I saw him about 10 times, and he was always rude and dismissive. He insulted my previous doctor as well as my primary care physician, who referred me to him in the first place. Nothing says class quite like that. The ego on this guy is out of control. He will try to intimidate you into compliance. He is a terrible listener. He never gave me a chance to a... read more

All who view this site should be aware of the following: If you are dissatisfied with this doctor and wish to use another doctor within THIS SAME PRACTICE, you cannot. This man has a rule--You no like me, go some place else. Sounds simple enough, but if you are part of Phoenix Direct Network (United Health), there are no other rheumatology groups within 20 miles of the central Phoenix area. Needless to say, I was more than disappointed with Dr. Peters care. He could have cared less about my health issues, was rude and condes... read more

Seen Dr. Peters twice. First time he saw me for 5 minutes after I spent 15 minutes with his PA. First question was "what does your husband do?" REALLY? He had 1 foot out the door the whole time and I didn't get to ask any questions. Second appointment he made comments re other doctors I've seen that their opinions and diagnoses were all wrong. Does NOT CARE about any previous history at all as if MY LIFE STARTED WHEN I MET HIM. He did not even examine me during my appt. and merely asked if I had swelling. Lupus is so much mo... read more

I have been seeing doctor Peters for 3 years now and i have never met a more professional man. The way he goes about rheumatology is in a caring, productive and helpful manner. I have seen numerous rheumatologist and none have ever been as knowledgeable and productive as doctor Peters! By far one of the elite rheumatologists in the valley.

1st appointment was a disappointment. Dr Peters spent about 2-3 minutes with me. When he gave me a diagnosis, I asked a few questions in which the PA laughed. Very unprofessional. Seemed like they could not wait to end my initial consult.

Office is beautiful. Staff is caring and knows everyone by name when they walk in the door. I had a billing question and the manager brought the billing girl out to answer my question. She cleared it up right away. Dr. Peters drew a picture for me of what was happening to my joints. It helped me understand my illness. The visit was short, but I came away with an understanding of what I need to do. I understand his plans for me. I like him. He is helping me feel better and feel confident about my care.
