Dr. Guirguis must know that advertising that he is "The Best" is a violation. It appears he is rallying women to promote this theme of "The Best Ever" which coincides with his grandiose behavior so no surprise there. What is surprising however, is the story that the great reviews tell about the amount of surgies he has performed. Ask yourself , "why is his operating rate so high?" Very much so, Dr. Guirguis is excellent, he saved my life. I have been in remission for 9 yrs. When I first met him at Rush he looked me in the eye and told me the facts in layman’s terms. He honest and most concise. An expect in his field.
Excellent bedside manner ! Very knowledgeable and pleasant and explains things very well. He is trustworthy and he and his staff are very professional. I can get quite anxious with doctors / dentists so I’m very picky about how I choose physicians . Dr Guirguis is very professional and has personable and is able to put you at ease when discussing procedures. He is one of the most genuine and pleasant physicians I’ve met in a long time . Without hesitation I would recommend him to friends and family.
In short, he is the most incredible doctor. If you have Ovarian Cancer he is one of the best doctors in the country. We are forever grateful that we were lucky enough to cross paths with him and to be able to become a patient of his. He is surrounded by great people, his staff and nurses are so wonderful, especially Nina. Thank you for everything you have all done and continue to do. Best Doctor EVER! My mother was diagnosed with Uterine cancer in December 2019. As a family, we were initially shocked, scared and clueless. By God's grace, we were referred to Dr. Guirguis and his team within a week's time. There has been no looking back ever since. My mom and I met with Dr. Guirguis twice prior to surgery where he went over pages of medical reports and test results. Dr Guirguis is amazing. From the moment we met, he eased my fears. My surgery happened during the shutdown so I had to go to see Dr. Guirguis and go through surgery alone. My husband was on the phone in the parking lot. Dr. Guirguis took the time to explain everything to me and to make sure my husband understood on the phone without being in front of him looking at the images from the MRI. I did not hff have the appointment I expected with Dr. Guirguis. Out of respect for him I called him Doctir. He corrected me , that he was a Surgeon not a Dr. I wanted to laugh in his face. My husband iui s a Surgeon and he would never speak to a women like that. He was grandiose, hyperverbal , his cycled through highs and lows in the same appointment. When women say this guy his not appropriate, they are not kidding.
Went to see Dr. Guirguis. I did not have the patient experience expected. He first told me he was not a Dr, but that he was Surgeon. I wanted to laugh. This man had one of the biggest egos I have seen. What he was so foolish to understand my husband is surgeon and would never say that to a patient. This man was hyper verbal and very grandiose. All I can say , is really. One of the most unprofessional appointments I ever had. Will not be going back.
