This was my first visit at Visage Dermatology. Dr. Kongsiri had a pleasant bedside manner and took the time to address my concerns and explained use of medication thoroughly. Will highly recommend her to friends and family.
Integrity. Excellent experience with this hidden gem of boutique full service dermatology center. Check out the web site, you’ll see this doctor’s group’s credentials are second to none. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kongsiri’s for a very long time, and used to think she was good, but I won’t be going back. The last 2 appointments have not been good experiences. I felt very rushed and dismissed, and I don't think she was thorough. The practice also seems focused on the cosmetic side and not the medical side, which concerns me, but my main issue is the rushed, assembly-line feel, and that the doctor no longer seems thorough or caring. I'm out of there.
I would not recommend her or this practice because of their unethical practices having to do with their Cool Sculpting part of their practice. Please beware that they may not be truthful about its effectiveness and may be unwilling to fulfill what you paid for.
Dr Kongsiri was very professional and helpful with my issues. I have no complaints and will refer my friends and family.
Dr. K is very personable and in my opinion provides top class services. I'd definitely recommend this practice.
Big problem. I have no insurance, so I am careful about costs. The PA recommended I have 2 biopsies. She was nice and even sent her assistant to check the cost. I assumed the $150 I was quoted was the price for the biopsy. A few weeks later I got a $170 bill from a pathologist. Toni at Visage was condescending and unhelpful when I called to complain. She stated it was "common knowledge" that a biopsy would incur a pathology bill. Rude! Thought that was what I paid for.
She misdiagnosed a basal cell carcinoma as dermatitis/psoriasis in a quick, dismissive manner. I'm a super fair skinned person with a family history of skin cancer and no history of psoriasis. This delayed proper treatment of this cancer, which I eventually got diagnosed after spending some time wondering why the spot wouldn't go away.
