I had surgery with Dr. Gitelman several years ago. I never felt pressured to have surgery and we tried other options (PT, pain management) before making a final decision. I have since seen him for other issues and would highly recommend anyone to his care.
The decision to haveI spinal surgery did bot come easy. Dr. Gitelman lived up to the trust I felt in his experience and expertise. The surgery was a complete success. No more excruciating pain! Dr. Gitelman is a very caring doctor. I needed surgery for my large herniated disk. He took his time to explain everything and called me home the day after the surgery to check up on me. I was feeling relieve almost right away. Great doctor !
I was suffering with severe shooting pain in the leg. Dr Gitelman was recommended to me by my regular doctor. He did a minimally invasive surgery for my herniated disk, and I was able to go home same day. The leg pain was gone, and two months later I am back to running 6 miles! Couldn't be happier with him or his staff.
Excellent spinal surgeon.
I had a neck fusion surgery with dr. Gitelman, and can say that he is not only a great surgeon, but also a super caring and responsive doctor! His bedside manner is excellent, and he always returned my calls right away. The surgery itself went great, and I was back to tennis 6 weeks later! I couldn't recommend him and his staff highly enough.
I saw Dr. Gitelman for a herniated disk in my back. He was very professional, and took the time to explain exactly what was the problem. I had a minimally invasive surgery with him 3 months ago, and went home the same day, with the leg pain completely gone! I went back to work 3 weeks later, and am finally pain free! Highly recommend him and his staff.
I saw Dr. Gitelman for back pain that has been bothering me for several years. He is very bright and was able to answer all of my questions. But what I liked the most, is that he is very conservative. He didn't rush me to have the surgery, first I tried Physical therapy, which helped me only temporary, then epidural injections, which did help but only for a few months, and than I decided to have surgery.
