Dr. Joy is very smart and highly educated. He is kind and listens well and has an impeccable bedside manner. He has helped me through a new diagnosis and I would recommend him with the highest honor.
Dr Joy was recommended to me by a co-worker. My co-worker and I are both nurses so we have high standards when it comes to picking a health care provider. His office is a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. I have been seeing Dr Joy for several years now and I have had a good experience every time. Besides being a well respected neurologist, he is down to earth and so easy to talk to.

I was very disappointed in my first experience with Dr. Joy and his office. Due to changes in my insurance I needed to find a new neurologist and I chose Dr. Joy based on good reviews I had seen. When I visited his office I waited a long time to finally get to a room only to be handed off to a medical student instead of the doctor. When I told him that this was not acceptable I was again left waiting for another 15 minutes so I decided to leave the appointment. Clearly Dr. Joy is too busy,

I went through a really rough period hitting my head on the left side after a fall. Don't know why I fell, it just happened. I had all kinds of tests and xrays. Looks like I could be getting set up for dementia in the long. We tried all kinds of brain exercises and physical therapy for my balance. I didn't drive for a few months because i didn't trust myself and wanted to make sure I didn't hurt myself or others. I have my follow up visits and things are coming together. I am still very cautious
Excellent Doctor. He listened to my problem, and with a complete EMG, was able to give pertinent advice. As an orthopedic surgeon, I would only go to the best neurologist as my hands are my life. You won't go wrong with Dr Joy.
I have never had an issue with Dr. Joy; zero negative experiences of any kind. Excellent personality. I always feel comfortable and at ease.
