unorganized, failed to inform me of a STEEP price increase, and have messed up my blood tests and prescriptions multiple times
Dr Wright is the most thorough, and caring MDs. Not only is she my personal MD. She is my number referral for medical treatment. She is affirming for the transgender, gay, lesbian, bisexual, She is excellent.
I have been a patient of Dr. Wright for approximately 7 years. As of this year, she is the preferred doctor for my family, my adult children, and several extended family members. Dr. Wright is personable with each patient, comprehensive in review of each topic of concern discussed during the appointment, knowledgeable of medical history, and has great ability to adapt the message of medical conditions so that the patient understands their treatment and next steps.
Did a blood test on the 28th of February, I called a week later and asked bout my blood test results, I am now two weeks after my blood test waiting on my results and have called up there 4 times. From the time of the blood test they told me it would only take a week. Every time I call up there all I am told is that it will be ready soon. Otherwise staff is friendly, but when paying out of your own pocket time is also of the essence.
Dr. Wright has the patience and blessing of a saint from years of working in other medical fields before becoming a general practitioner. Not only does she excel well at her craft, with a vast amount of knowledge, proper decision-making, and unique thinking, she also practices some of the most compassionate patient care and bed side manners I have ever seen. She genuinely cares for you as a person and patient and will go lengths to make sure you treated physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I just LOVE Dr. Wright! I just saw her for a flair of asthma, for which my previous doctor had given me Advair. It would've been SO easy to just give me the Advair. Instead she took time to explain to me the different kinds of controller inhalers and the reasons why a combo inhaler (i.e. Advair) isn't always best. Then she got me a free sample and coupons for another inhaler that is safer & asked me to track my asthma for a month & let her know how I do. I just appreciate her taking the time!
Waited 8 DAYS for lab results that were sent to Dr. Wright's within 2 DAYS of my appointment. And I only received them then because I called & hounded the office until they had a medical assistant (you read that correctly - not even a nurse) call me with the results. I asked them to fax the results to my OB/GYN who actually cared enough to read them promptly & answer any questions I had. Dr. Wright needs to reassess her patient load if this response time is viewed as acceptable.
