I called Dr. Farooque's office to ask if they were accepting new patients and was told that needed to see his records. Sent a release form to his previous psychiatrist to release the records to Dr. Farooque's office which took more than several weeks. f only I could give zero stars. This “physician” is COMPLETELY devoid of any empathy/compassion. My first day at the facility, he met with me for about two minutes and I was struggling with my decision to remain at that particular facility in Murfreesboro. This doctor said to me “why are you here, you are wasting my time!” I was stunned, and already suffering with severe anxiety and depression. Sad way to do business!

The office staff is extremely rude. They act as if they are doing you a favor by answering the phone. The receptionist advised me I had to obtain and transport my medical records to them for “team review”. Once u had done this, the “team” decided they didn’t want to treat an ADHD patient. But they wanted my insurance information up front!! I never even met any doctor from here. Never got past the front staff. Whom by the way gave me a depression diagnosis over the phone. As if she was a medical provider.

This man is dangerous. Years ago He mislabeled me as bipolar after only talking to me for 5 minutes. He put me on all these new meds that I didn't need, that make me crazy, and I ended up having to stay on his unit for an extended time. I was labeled as bipolar for several years and only after a 4 hours of tests and evaluations with Dr. Daniel Sumrok, (The #1 mental health doctor in Tennessee). He told me I was not bipolar. I was mislabeled for years and put on medications I didn't need thanks to Farooque. The man is a quack... read more

Selfish, condescending, coercing, and only looking out for his wallet. Kickbacks are his only priority; not best interest of the patient.

I was actually kicked out of the practice after 12 years with him. The office staff decided it for me. I had a no show appointment that I was having trouble paying for as I had just started a new job and forgot about the appt. The front desk said they called and would not excuse it. So, I had to keep rescheduling my appt. She then got snippy with me and said, you can leave the practice all together and we will start taking patients that actually need to be here. Horrible.

Terrible staff. Wasted my time, were uncompassionate, disorganized and very uninformed. Must be super easy to get hired here. I will be reviewing on more sites, thanks for the rude attitude and misinformation. Don't go here. Do not recommend.

Dr farooque is the best I have seen so far. A good Psych is hard to find. I have had med resistant depression for 15 years. He has actually helped me. Check out NeuroStar if you can afford it.
