Dr. Schaaf is an amazing surgeon. He did a reverse shoulder replacement for me six weeks ago. The lack of anything but minor pain was a pleasant surprise! I've seen him for years for various joint issues. He is one of the best.

Dr. Schaaf and his clinic team were thorough, professional and did an outstanding job of diagnosing and explaining treatment options for an old leg injury that is still giving me problems. I can't recommend Dr. Schaaf and the Lowcountry Ortho team enough - they're the best!
Dr. Schaaf is amazing!! He has done laparoscopic surgery on both of my shoulders. One surgery in 2016 and the other in 2019. He helped me every step of the way. He and his staff are very professional, kind, considerate, and helpful. I would highly recommend Lowcountry Orthopedics and Dr. Schaaf for all of your orthopedic needs. I am well pleased with the care that I received from Dr. Schaaf, Marty and all the staff!!!
