Great experience with Dr. Rosen. He is competent, knowledgeable, and communicates clearly and concisely. He doesn’t make you feel rushed, nor does he waste your time. We had a thorough discussion that included reviewing my X-ray, current knee issues, and potential next steps if the current treatment plan doesn’t resolve the problem. I felt heard and well-informed throughout the visit.

Unhelpful, dismissive, and disingenuous. I saw him for a 5 minute cursory exam before he beat a hasty retreat. Said he’d return but sent a nurse instead. Via the Scripps portal, he told me he couldn’t help with my “type of hip pain” and refused to order an MRI. Referred me to a form of PT that is not offered by Scripps, and told me to find a hip preservation specialist but couldn’t name any. I did see someone from that specialty who works in the same department as Rosen (this should provide some indication of how self-absorb... read more

Dr Rosen: Unprofessional, dismissive, useless. Called and spoke to 10 different people all who gave me different & conflicting information. Can’t seem to perform the simplest of tasks. Just needed a referral but wasn’t willing to do it unless we used one of their doctors. Stay clear and find another doctor. Doctor doesn’t even have the courtesy of calling himself.

I‘ve seen Dr. Rosen several times for knee pain. At this time and hopefully for quite awhile(no surgery) he will be treating me with injections. He is thorough, caring, explanatory and exhibits a true concern, for the patient. I feel lucky to have been referred to him and while going to an appointment for pain isn’t fun, I know I am in good hands and the treatment works! Definitely recommend Dr. Rosen.
