Dr. Thiyaga's practice would be considerably improved if he had a decent staff. He seems to micromanage a good deal, rather than tending to patients. Also, he disparages treatment of other doctors…which seems unprofessional. Longer wait times than necessary.

Same here.Getting the patches had become such a big issue. I took my very old arthritic mother and asked for duragesic patch. He would not give it to her. He asked me to take mobic. I work at a busy hospital cafeteria and know all about what's best for me and my mama. NSAIDS don't work. As soon as I take mobic, i start vomiting blood and I get kidney pain! He should have known that also have nose bleeds. I wouldn't take my cat to him. Only duragesic patch helps me to be on my feet for 6 hours. I am no addict, I just need to ... read more

I took my mother to see this doctor, because she can not drive and is on a walker. She has Rheumatoid Arthritis and stays in pain most of the time. Her doctor placed her on Duragesic Patches and Roxicodone. He said that only cancer patient need to be on Duragesic Patches. This doctor said that my mother would do better on Alleve. I told him that Alleve made her swell, because of the sodium. He replied, "Alleve does not contain sodium". I immediately thought to myself, I would not let this doctor treat my dog. My mother has C... read more

I took my mom in a powerchair ( borrowed from neighbor) to get my oxycodone and xanax. He found out that I am taking my mom’s medications, kicked both of us out. He wouldn’t give strong pain killers to my poor old mother! Very unsympathetic. Warning fellow drug seekers: stay away from this guy! He is too smart for you!! careful, don't scratch your private part too often, you can get a seizure!

Dr. Thiyaga's staff is not very friendly compared to most doctor's offices I have been to. I am not greeted with a smile and until last month was always given a hand written receipt to turn into my insurance company rather than an actual printed one which is what they require. This, in turn, caused numerous problems regarding my claims for flex spending. I always have to wait at least 30 minutes to see Dr. Thiyaga when he only stays in the room with me for about 15-20 minutes. As far as being helpful, he did not believe in m... read more
