Everyone there is really sweet and I can tell they genuinely care about the animals they are helping. My rescue dog is really nervous but Dr Taft and all the techs are amazing with him
Was seen by Dr. Vanessa Carl who was very knowledgeable and didn’t put any pressure for treatments she recommended. I was also seen by Ella, Araz and Portia who were all very kind and very competent in their role within the clinic. You can tell that the staff here are compassionate about animals, definitely a wonderful team that every doctor should have.
This vet seems keen to maximize the number of visits and tests preformed. Very disappointed in the follow up care regarding an ongoing problem that we spent time and money trying to resolve with the vet. The vet didn’t seems to take in all the factors when deciding on testing etc …. Requested my records and also didn’t receive those. Would not recommend this vet if you’re needing ongoing care or prompt follow up.
Edited for accuracy: Dr. Vanessa spends the time that is needed to answer every question with clarity. I've never seen my cats behave with as much ease at the vet as they do when she is present. Great experience, great care, would recommend.
Simon really enjoyed getting neutered here and he is always very happy to return. We love the doctors at Downtown Veterinary Clinic and the reception people are also wonderful and personable. They always follow up after appointments by email to see how my dogs are doing, which is so sweet and something I am not aware of other offices doing. I only have great things to say about this clinic, and I would highly recommend to anybody.
