I live 4 miles from downtown and commute by public transit. Riverfront Park is my favorite place to hang out and enjoy the day.The Spokane River Centennial Trail goes through the park and I can ride my bicycle east all the way to Idaho State line. Mornings usually find me getting coffee @ ATTICUS Coffee and Gifts followed by an hour or so at the city library.
Had a great time at my first parade downtown. Thank you so much Spokane.
This is a great place to spend time with family
Enough of a big city to enjoy and small enough to get anywhere in 20-30 minutes. We enjoy Riverfront Park and go to the many events they hold throughout the year. Lilac City ..it's where seeds are planted and take root...where Hearth is home wherever you go...there s serendipitous places to be found...scenic park like setting with trees...and beauty can be yours...throughout all Four Seasons...Riverfront Park is forever growing shifting shaping through the changing times as we hold onto the old and make room for the new..It's home it's what feels raw and emotional but it's where life begins and ends and starts a new. All my travels here is where I always come back too for its rich fil... read more
It’s a dumpster fire. The dumpster on fire warms the homeless that plague each corner looking for a dollar. I mean holy crap, homeless everywhere. What is Spokane doing that invites so much pan handlers? Everytime I visit its great architecture and homeless. Seriously, it’s worse than Seattle sometimes. If Tacoma took a dump, it’s called Spokane. SpoCompton, Spokandyland.....oversized trailer park. What politics caused this mess?
I love going to Spokane...most of my medical appointments and shopping are in Spokane.
