They have everything you won't find at chain stores: Cool frames you won't see anywhere else. Depth and breadth of knowledge regarding everything about frame styles and prescriptions. Personable service from someone who knows and loves her work. I wasted my time going to every optician in Central Wisconsin and Madison, plus hours spent online, and here I found a style I loved that I never saw anywhere else. Be smart and go here first!

I have tried (3) of the other major optical centers here and Wausau and all three of them ended up being disappointments either in service, delivery, pricing (or all of the above). Downtown Optical not only provides wonderful personalized service, the pricing and delivery is great as well. Need something special? If they do not either have the product or the answer they will go out of their way to obtain it for you. Highly recommended!
